That is indeed good news.

Our route will be from Dunkirque along the E40 all the way until Eupen at which point we generally stop for fuel and at the McDonalds for the toilet! Food is optional! We then go on the B258 all the way to Nurburg. I guess for you it would make sense to meet at a services just after the E17 joins at Gent.

Our Belgian friends are also looking to join at some point in Belgium too.

We will be getting stupid o'clock ferry at 4am, which should arrive at 7am with the hour time change and so we should be getting to Gent around 8am. From this point it is about 4 hours to the Ring. As a convoy we have to obey speed limits and I may well be in a van which will not be quick anyway.

Our plans are to arrive for the rack opening in the afternoon but we also plan a track talk by RSR, the Nurburg Track school and then a big BBQ in the evening.
The hotel we are staying in will be full of UK drivers, however we know the owner quite well and he has said he will find other hotels for other groups so when you know numbers if you let me know I will put you in contact with him and you can sort out hotel rooms. I am not sure of the cost of the Track talk, around €10 to €15 but worth it's weight in gold if you intend to go on track and the BBQ is coming out at €30 per person at the moment as it will include some free drinks.
We would need paying for that in advance though as we have to tell the hotel the numbers of people.

Other than that it will be great to see you. We have had a lot of interest. We also have someone coming from the Cote d'Azur and even people from Greece have said they will come. So far I have had replies from Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Sweden, Hungary, Holland France and Belgium, Italy, Greece and Denmark. I think I have created a monster! lol.

Oh, hotels range from €45 upward per night. There are some expensive ones if people want that as well
