Dear MX-5 France members.

I am sorry for posting in english, but unfortunately I don't know french yet.
My name is Artem and I've just moved to Marseille for Ph.D. :hello:
In my homeland we got a really nice mx-5 club (miataclub.ru), where I found a lot of great friends. We organized regular meeting and events.
I hope to join your community and find some new friends here as well!

I got a 1.8 NC copper red 2012 turbo MX-5, which I took with me.
Would be nice, if I can meet someone of you here, in Marseille.

After the last track day I kicked my clutch and ordered rough ACT version from ILMotorsport.
Maybe you can advice me, where I can install it locally?

Looking forward to meet new friends  ,
Artem

Hello Artem,

Welcome to our website!! I'm pretty sure that you will enjoy our community! We are a lot of crazy people here!

You have a very nice car, and did I read well?A turbo 1.8L?
It's possible to explain the modifications you made on your miata? Is it common this kind of modifications in Russia?Road legal?

I will let people from your area help you to find the right solution for your clutch. I'm thinking about Dns, our official miata assistance for the south west :ricane:

Haha

Welcome Artem, nice to have you here
We are a bunch of mx5 in Aix en Provence and Marseille, and at my home we (my wife and I) are used to fix, repair, modify most of the mx-5 around  We even called it "mimixland" :aie:

For jobs that require a lift, I have a very nice garage managed by a friend that have sweet prices and top quality jobs (he's alone, and working hard, on exotic cars). Same for alignment, and "Controle technique".

Don't hesitate to give me a call or drop me a PM, so we can have a drink of rosé while talking mx-5, and get your '5 fixed :P

I installed a GT2560 Garett turbo with help of guys from BBR (UK), which boosted my miata from stock 126 to healthy 240 HP. Still on 95RON for economy. Fully road legal and I think it even saved euro4 standard. Turbo blows only 0.9 bar - which is really a reliable option and reliability is important for me. I don't want to have a super overpowered sport monster, but the amount of power is really nice. 0-100 makes in ±5.5 secs.

Hi!

Welcome here! I can't help because I'm Belgian and not a little Frenchie. But I really appreciate the engine mods that you bring on your Miata. Must be great to drive!
